Super Bowl Brownies

Fudgy, gooey, flaky, VEGAN brownies to kickoff this exciting football weekend! These festive brownies are the best way to celebrate! Plus they're way too easy to make and will make your house smell Heavenly!

Ingredients:

- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed

- 3 tbsp water

- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

- 1/2 cup stevia

- 3 tbsp vegan butter

- 2/3 cup almond milk

- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

- 3/8 cups whole wheat flour

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- 1/8 cup coco powder

 

Instructions:

  1. Create your flax egg by mixing together your ground flax seed and water. Then set aside for 10 minutes or until it forms into a gel (it'll have the consistency of almond butter)

  2. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray down a square baking pan with cooking spray

  3. In a microwave melt your dark chocolate chips

  4. In a large bowl use a hand mixer to mix together your vegan butter and stevia, and then add your prepared flax egg, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and almond milk and mix until well combined

  5. Sift through your whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and coco powder and mix once again until well combined (be careful you don't over mix your batter!)

  6. Fold through an OPTIONAL extra 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips then pour batter into the sprayed baking pan and bake for 30-35 mins

  7. Once the brownies are done baking, allow them time to cool completely before using a football cookie cutter or a stencil to cut them out of the pan

  8. Melt some white chocolate to add detailing and enjoy!!
