Orange Creamsicle Smoothie Bowl

A luscious, perfect balance between natural sweetness from the peaches, and tartness from the frozen orange, equals a delicious smoothie bowl as a result! This smoothie bowl is not only absolutely delicious and perfect for the summer, but it also is packed with tons of nutrient dense ingredients that make this bowl oh so hearty and heart healthy! For example you get the tablespoon of pumpkin seeds which contain zinc, aka a fancy chemical element found in very few raw foods. The benefits you may ask?...they balance estrogen levels, improve immune systems, and can help heal wounds faster. Not to mention there are TONS of other health benefits from this smoothie bowl, but I think you've heard enough from me, so now I'll turn the stage over to this "make it you won't regret it," smoothie bowl!

TIME: 5 mins.


Ingredients:

- 2 frozen oranges

- 1 frozen banana

- 1 cup frozen peaches

- 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower

- A splash of vanilla extract

- 1 tbsp hemp seeds

- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

- 2 tbsp maple syrup

- 1/4 cup almond milk

 

Instructions:

  1. Add everything listed above to a blender, and blend until smooth.

  2. Pour into a bowl and top with optional granola and orange slices.

  3. Enjoy!!
