These cozy waffles are the best weekend breakfast as they take less than 30 minutes to make! They're also perfect for those with a dairy allergy as they're DAIRY FREE! This recipe is seriously going to change your life!
YIELD: 5 waffles
TIME: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cups rolled oats
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- a pinch of nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 2 eggs (slightly beaten)
- 1 & 2/3 cups almond milk
- 6 tbsp vegan butter (melted)
Instructions:
In a large bowl combine your flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt then stir and set aside
In a small bowl mix together eggs, milk, and melted vegan butter
Add the liquid mixture into the dry mixture and fully stir until well combined
Preheat your waffle iron and allow the batter to rest for about 5 minutes
Cook your waffles in the sprayed down waffle iron (I cooked mine for roughly 2 minutes each side)
Top with maple syrup and enjoy!!
