Apple Pie Baked Oatmeal

This apple pie baked oatmeal is a delicious warm breakfast that only takes 25 minutes to make! High in protein and fiber, this healthy breakfast will keep you full for awhile! The cozy cinnamon and apple combo is superior, but in oatmeal form, it's even better! The vegan baked oatmeal recipe everyone needs in their life, so keep scrolling to find out how I made it!

 

YIELD: 1 serving

TIME: 25 mins.


Ingredients:

- 2/3 cups rolled oats

- A pinch of sea salt

- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

- 1/4 cup applesauce

- 1 tbsp maple syrup

- 2/3 cups almond milk (or other milk of choice)

- A splash of vanilla extract

- 1/2 tbsp chia seeds

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and spray a large ramekin with cooking spray.

  2. Stir together all your dry ingredients in a small bowl. Then add in your wet ingredients, mixing once more until everything is well combined.

  3. This step is optional, but if you'd like slice up an apple and place it on top before baking.

  4. Bake for roughly 20 minutes. Once done baking, top with a spoonful of almond butter, and a sprinkle of rolled oats.

  5. Enjoy!!
